Much like any other skill, becoming a good archer requires practice, quality training, and a professional instructor to help you become a better, safer, and more confident archer. Great Southwest Gun and Archery offers classes and personal instruction to help you accomplish those goals. Our convenient DFW metro indoor location makes it easy. Introduction to Archery

Introduction to Archery covers:

• Finding the right Bow for you
• The differences in poundage and draw length
• Anchor points and their function
• Sight adjustment
• Correct arrow selection

Introduction to archery covers concepts and fundamentals everyone needs to understand about the sport of Archery. Upon completion of this class the students will have a firm understanding of what the fundamentals of Archery & Bow selection are, and how they can apply them to their own personal goals. This class is held live on the Archery range conveniently located in Grand Prairie Texas. The cost for this class is $22.50 and $15.00 for each addtional lesson.

Intermediate Archery

Intermediate Archery covers:

• Paper tuning
• Target panic
• Indoor target shooting concepts
• Advanced troubleshooting
• Tournament preparation

Intermediate Archery is the next step once students have a firm understanding of the fundamentals relating to Archery. Upon completion of this class the students will have a firm understanding of more advanced concepts of Archery and target shooting, and how they can apply them to their own personal goals. This class is held live on the Archery range conveniently located in Grand Prairie Texas. The cost for this class is $22.50 and $15.00 for each additional lesson.

Personal Coaching (Archery)

One on one instruction live on the archery range with our professional Archery instructor. The cost for this service is $35/hr.
